Nuclear Valley

Swiss nuclear power plants

Nuclear power plants have been in operation in Switzerland for more than 50 years and currently generate a third of the country's electricity - reliably, resource-efficiently and with low emissions. The "Nuclear Valley" stretches from the headquarters of BKW Energie AG to Leibstadt, Switzerland's newest and most powerful nuclear power plant.
