Anyone interested in taking a look behind the scenes can explore the Beznau Nuclear Power Plant on a free, approximately two-hour guided tour. The tour takes participants through the machine hall, the control room, and the Beznau Interim Storage Facility (ZWIBEZ), among other areas. During the tour, participants learn firsthand how electricity is generated, what high safety standards are in place, and how radioactive waste is safely stored.
Guided tours are available for groups by appointment and, on select dates, for individuals as well.
