CAS "Working Environment Nuclear Energy": Decontamination, Waste Disposal, and First Module Examination

The fifth day of the course focused on decontamination and the disposal of radioactive waste. The first module exam was held at the same time.
CAS "Working Environment Nuclear Energy": New reactor generations, clear safety principles

On the fourth day of the CAS course “Nuclear Energy Work Environment,” students gained insights into current developments in reactor technology as well as the legal and safety-related fundamentals of nuclear power plant operation. It became clear that technological progress and a consistently applied set of safety and regulatory standards form the basis for safe and reliable operation.
CAS "Working Environment Nuclear Energy": Safety, Supervision, and Waste Disposal

The third day of the CAS course "Working Environment Nuclear Energy" focused on legal principles, supervision, and radioactive waste disposal.
CAS "Working Environment Nuclear Energy": From Uranium to Electricity

On the second day of the CAS course “Nuclear Energy Work Environment,” the students gained practical insight into the journey of uranium from mining to electricity production, as well as the structure and operation of a nuclear reactor. Particularly impressive were the demonstrations of uranium’s high energy density and the opportunity to see original fuel and reactor components up close.
